The Pirate's Coin: "We Live by the Code"

In the year 1718, when the Pirate Republic of Nassau was at its height, a legend began to spread through the Caribbean about a coin—a single piece of treasure so valuable, it was said to hold the power of the pirate code itself. This wasn’t just any coin; it was minted by the most notorious pirates of the age, those who ruled over Nassau like kings and queens, including the dreaded Blackbeard and the cunning Charles Vane, also the savvy pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read. The front bore the image of a skull and crossed swords, a grim symbol of their brotherhood. But it was the engraving on the back that truly gave the coin its legend: “We live by the code.”

The coin was said to be more than a piece of gold. It was a symbol of loyalty, a pledge to the pirate code that governed the lawless seas. Whoever possessed the coin was bound by its words, and it was whispered that breaking the code while holding the coin would bring a curse so great that not even the ocean could hide you.

This coin is said to be 1.5 inches in diameter.
It is said to ship in a plastic sleeve.
